Art Museum of Greater Lafayette
Founded in 1909 as the Lafayette Art Association by former Rookwood potter
Laura Ann Fry, the Permanent Collection of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette
centers on 19th and 20th century American art with a special focus on art
of Indiana.
The Permanent Collection contains works by pioneer Indiana artists George
Winter, members of the Richmond Group, including John Elwood Bundy and
Frank Girardin, Hoosier Group, including T.C. Steele and Otto Stark and
members of the Brown County Art Colony,
The Museum holds special collections of Rookwood pottery by Laura Ann
Fry and prints by Latin-American artists Guillermo Meza, Jose Clemente
Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueros
The Museum Store now features Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home decor, featuring
throws, pillows, wind chimes, mugs and Christmas ornaments.
