The Essence of Rembrandt

Rembrandt, the Musical, Royal Theatre Carré Amsterdam
In the Rembrandt year of 2006, the Royal Carré Theatre will
host the Rembrandt musical for seven months. The theatrical production
will provide new and surprising insight into Rembrandt’s life, which has
until now remained a mystery to the general public. The show will concentrate
on the man Rembrandt, “the master of light” whose life was interspersed
with so many shadows and dramatic events.
